About Me

Hey there! I’m Daniel James. I currently work in IT , after having graduated with a degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering . I’m married and have two kids.

I’m a Christian, and I attend the Austin Christian Fellowship Church. My faith is of paramount important to my life, and it’s my joy and pleasure to follow Jesus Christ!

Some more about me:

-I’m an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. If you’re wondering why I always carry some sort of bag or backpack with me, it’s because I sometime take “Be prepared” too literally and have a bunch of emergency preparedness stuff with me at all time! :)

-I was homeschooled from 3rd grade all the way through high school, and loved every second of it, and my wife and I homeschool our children.

-I have been heavily involved in music ever since I started taking piano lessons at age 7. Since then, I’ve learned several instruments: primarily the piano, but also some alto saxophone, guitar, hand drums, and harmonica. I primarily play Christian/church music and classical music. Those are the same types of music that I enjoy listening to, as well. I taught piano lessons for 12 years, from seventh grade until I got married!

-I have been actively involved in the Awana program from 2nd grade until now. In addition to being a student participant from 2nd grade through 12th grade, I’ve been a leader in Awana from 9th grade to the present. I’m currently the director of the Trek program (6th-8th graders).

-I love participating in my church. My church, ACFC, meets every Sunday morning, followed by lunch and fellowship. We also have a Bible Study every Friday evening. If you’re looking for a church that focuses on the New Covenant and discipleship, desiring that all believers life a life of continually becoming more like Christ and overcoming sin, let me know!

– I love playing sports much more than watching them; my favorite sport to play is Ultimate Frisbee! I play with a local group most Wednesdays and Saturdays.
